Pravin is the Head of Design and Engineering at Mahindra Susten, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping the renewable energy projects involving solar, wind, and energy storage. With a strong focus on utilizing the right technology, Pravin is dedicated to advancing the mission of powering the world with renewable energy.

Pravin brings a wealth of experience in the design and engineering field, specifically in renewable energy, having successfully designed and engineered over 4.2GWp+ of renewable energy projects that are currently powering grids. He believes in the power of value engineering and employs alternative thinking to create significant value in every project.

In addition to his technical expertise, Pravin excels in team management, leading a diverse team of over 30 multidisciplinary engineers. Together, they collaborate to design unique projects that maximize asset value and deliver exceptional results.

Pravin has accumulated more than 17 years of experience, with the last 12+ years dedicated to the renewable energy sector. He joined Mahindra at its inception in 2011 and played a crucial role in building a billion-dollar organization. Starting from scratch, he established and developed a full-fledged design and engineering function within the company. Prior to his time at Mahindra, Pravin gained valuable experience working with renowned organizations such as VA Tech Wabag, Crompton Greaves, EMCO, and Cleanmax.

Pravin holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from VJTI Mumbai. His passion and dedication to the field were evident even during his educational journey, where he achieved the silver medal in the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education for Diploma in Electrical Engineering. He also won accolades for his state-level paper presentation on Static VAR compensation.
